Company
The group behind Southeast Asia's small business banking
Tiger Financial owns the platform and sets the strategy. Its operating companies hold the licences and face the customer, one market at a time.
Who we are
A holding company, built on one platform
What the group owns, who actually faces the customer, and why that structure sets the pace of every market it enters.
Tiger Financial is a holding company. It does not take payments itself: it builds the platform its operating companies run on, and enters each market through a company licensed to work there. Vietnam is the one live today, where VietPay serves small businesses with payments, banking and payroll.
A holding company
The group owns and builds; the operating companies hold the licences and face the customer. It is why a market opens at its regulator's pace rather than on a launch calendar.
One platform beneath it
Payments, banking, payroll, accounting, lending and the developer APIs run on a single multi-currency, multi-country platform, so a merchant onboarded for one product is already onboarded for the rest.
Small businesses, first
The customer is the business the region runs on and the incumbent banks reach last: too small for corporate banking, too real for consumer products.
How the group is put together
- 01
Tiger Financial
The holding company. Owns the platform and the group's strategy.
- 02
Operating companies
Licensed in their own market, facing their own customers. VietPay in Vietnam today.
- 03
Licensed partners
Bank accounts and settlement come through regulated partners rather than a licence the group holds itself.
Leadership
The people accountable for the group
The management team across the holding company and the operating companies beneath it.
Board composition, committee membership and executive biographies belong with the rest of the governance material.

Licence first, launch second
How the group works follows from what it is regulated to do. Entering a market at its regulator's pace rather than a launch date shapes the way every team here operates.
The licence sets the date
A market opens when its regulator says so, not when a plan says so. That single constraint decides what every team here commits to and when.
One platform, not six products
Payments, banking, payroll, accounting, lending and the APIs are built as one system. A team shipping for one market is shipping for all of them.
Prove it in one market first
Vietnam carries the pattern the group repeats. Nothing is taken to a second market on the strength of a deck rather than a live operation.
Small businesses are the customer
The businesses incumbent banks reach last are the ones served first here. Decisions get tested against whether they help one of them get paid.
Strategy
One market proven, five being opened
Vietnam is live and the pattern it established is what the group repeats: a licensed operating company, bank partners behind the accounts, then the rest of the platform.
Licence the market
An operating company is established and licensed where it trades, working with the local regulator rather than passporting in from elsewhere.
Partner for the accounts
Banking reaches customers through a licensed bank partner in that market. The group builds the platform; the partner holds the banking licence.
Open payments first
Merchants join to get paid, across POS, e-commerce, cash and QR on local rails as well as international cards.
Extend across the platform
A merchant onboarded for payments is already onboarded for banking, payroll and accounting. Lending comes last, scored on the payment history the first product produced.

Partnerships
The licensed partners behind the accounts
The group does not hold a banking licence. Accounts and settlement reach its customers through regulated partners, each named here with what the relationship covers.
